Thanks for reading and thanks for being a member of ABAdss.com Free to Air Satellite forum! Missed a month last month but we are back on track. We are really looking for more help. If we can get some good article writers we can get more publicity and get our newsletter articles listed on other sites. We need ORIGINAL articles for both the newsletter and and and and and and and blog. Anyone that is interested in helping out feel free to post in the forum's Newsletter section.

Want to give a big thanks to all the mods and newsletter staff. Mods have been a huge help as of late. We will probably be looking to add new mods pretty soon as our numbers get higher. Thanks again for your hard work guys

  • 40,000 Members -- Well we are at 40,000!!! Great job everyone. We have been seeing tremendous growth lately. We have been spending a ton on advertising and your efforts in telling your friends is working. Lets get up to 100k by the years' end!
  • Suggestions -- Hey guys, if you don't like something on the site, or you think there is something we could all really use, stop by the Suggestion Box and let us know. We have made a lot of changes based on your suggestions and are always looking to improve. Check it out Here!
  • Photos and Videos -- We added a photo and video gallery section. We have about 15 pics in there now and i want about a million more. You can put pics of anything that is family safe. If you have pics of your sat system, put it up. If you have pics of your dogs, put them up. It would be especially helpful if you guys had diagrams, videos, or other informational pics that would help other members. Sometimes 20 or 30 posts worth of explaining can be done with one picture. Start Uploading!

Hello All Members,

Well members it's that time of the year when we reflect back on our accomplishments and our failures - our losses and our gains - this year has been a challenging yet rewarding year for the FTA industry.

We have been through many service interruptions and when we all but gave up we were given the gift of a fix - This site has also undergone many changes, upgrades and has seen its membership skyrocket - Hopefully the trend will continue through the new year and the FTA industry also continue to prosper with very little down time.

So in closing enjoy the new year don't be afraid to try new products please stick to sites that you can trust.

Hello All,

This months feature article is on Pansat and the new 2800.

Established in 1983 by W.T. Kim under the name Panarex Electronics the company has grown significantly and in 1989 developed the name brand Pansat for its analog DHT satellite KU- receiving system and then exploded in the Free-to-Air market in 1997 with the model 100A receiver and has since produced nearly 24 different models making them the leader in the FTA business. Panarex offers a full range of FTA products such as antennas, positioners, motors, lnbs, DiSEQc swiches, multi switches and receivers.

In October, Pansat launched its most recent model, the 2800. The 2800 is a high quality and high performance machine that is easy to operate and includes features such as Smart Search, 5000 Channel TV and Radio program, 5 Favorite List, 2 Day Full EPG, S Video, 2mb Flash and 16 MB SD RAM making this a serious machine.
Pansat continues to grow and to release new products and as always provide excellant support and will continue to be the leader in the FTA market for a long time.

Well I didn't think the thread would be a great hit. Sometimes things take a bit to happen if they are gonna happen. I don't want to say things without knocking on wood but our worst nightmare happens and we go down and always pray for our big buddies to come through for us the Dear Newbiez thread be very active then. I have never done this so this is so new but it was fun. I got to learn some stuff slowly and I was thankful for that. Some people did go to the thread and I hope any information given was helpful.

The mods were awesome. I have never experienced a site like this. People are very nice and they don't make you feel dumb. So thumbs up for this site people its a site that makes you feel fuzzy and warm. The thread is for asking dumb questions or good questions and without feeling bad. We all learn together. Thank you to the people who did visit the thread. I can always use ideas to like Mondays make it a complain day ie work family people TV TV. Maybe a Tuesday for just chit chatting. I'm game for anything just throw ideas. I loved doing this thread this November and I hope we can still keep it going but it takes people wanting it. So how many against this thread and how many are for it. Also its good to hear how u got treated good or bad at other sites
